Ahh… the core initial conflict. The desire to paint, the conditioning not to paint and a devil encouraging you to give in to what you really want to do.Every day we stray further and further from God.

Gosh… Nakyum fights himself so hard. Seungho sees him so clearly, more clearly than he sees himself. The thing is, that the fighting appears useless.

He sat in that room and was pinned in place by his fantasies, the images he’s drawn, come to life in front of him. He froze and choked. This is Nakyum lying to himself.

Because as soon as he was alone, with no one around, and he saw the immense piece of paper… he just couldn’t help himself. His memory of the night, and the images of Seungho staring at him flooded his mind’s eye, and his brush was off and running before he knew it. And wow, who could blame him for fixating on Seungho’s back. It’s just gorgeous… but he didn’t miss anything in that room. For all his protestations, he missed nothing.When he blinked and caught himself, he had painted Seungho… staring back to him.

And immediately freaked out, destroying the painting. What is interesting, is that later, when Seungho creeps into the room and finds Nakyum collapsed exhausted on the floor, he discovers the torn painting. And of course, he’s amused as fuck. That look Seungho gives him at the end of the chapter.

Like a wolf  looking at a lamb and salivating. Too knowing that look… too hungry.
