Biography

Chikara Dōmeki (百目鬼 力, Dōmeki Chikara) is a protagonist along with Yashiro in the Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai (Twittering Birds Never Fly) series.

Doumeki is a quiet man, and this appears to others as dullness or stupidity, but he is a deeply observant character, who pays attention to small details. He is physically strong and capable, and prone to violent and sudden outbursts. One of these (righteous) outbursts, while he was a rookie police officer, led to him brutally beating his father into a hospital bed, and led to assault charges landing him a four year prison sentence.

Later he leaves prison, and winds up taking a job as a bodyguard for Yashiro…
